Itinerary

Day 1: Agadir to Marrakech

Begin your Moroccan journey in Agadir, traveling to Marrakech with several scenic stops along the way. Upon arrival, a local guide will lead you through Marrakech’s highlights: the Saadian Tombs, Menara Gardens, Bahia Palace, and the Koutoubia Mosque. Explore the vibrant Jemaa El-Fnaa square and the colorful Majorelle Garden. Afterward, you’ll be transferred to your Marrakech hotel for a relaxing night.

Day 2: Marrakech to Dades Valley

Travel through the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi-N-Tichka Pass, enjoying breathtaking views along the way. Visit an Argan oil cooperative and explore the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its film appearances. Continue to Ouarzazate to visit Atlas Studios, then head to the Rose Valley, famous for its annual Rose Festival. Spend the night in the Dades Valley.

Day 3: Dades Valley to Merzouga Desert

 

After breakfast, discover the stunning Todgha Gorges, characterized by towering cliffs and lush valleys. Visit a Berber cooperative in Touroug and learn about traditional palm irrigation in Jorf. Arrive in Erfoud and proceed to the Merzouga Desert. Enjoy a camel ride over the Erg Chebbi dunes and spend the night in traditional Berber tents, surrounded by the serene desert landscape.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert to Ouarzazate

After a sunrise in the desert and breakfast, ride your camels back. Make a stop in Rissani to explore its historic market. Continue through Alnif, Tazarine, and Nkob, with a lunch break and stunning views of the Draa Valley. Arrive in Ouarzazate for an overnight stay, enjoying the local charm and historical sites.

Day 5: Ouarzazate to Agadir

Head back to Agadir with stops at Taznakht, renowned for its Berber carpets, and Taliouine, known for its saffron fields. Tour a saffron cooperative before reaching Taroudant, often called “Little Marrakech” for its similarities. Explore the old Medina of Taroudant before concluding your Moroccan desert adventure in Agadir.
