Itinerary
Day 1: Fès – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga
Begin your adventure with an early departure from Fès, heading towards Ifrane, a town
famous for its Swiss-like charm and the prestigious Al Akhawayn University. Continue to
Azrou to explore the Cedar Forest and catch a glimpse of the Barbary macaques. Enjoy a
delightful lunch in Azrou or Midelt before making your way to Merzouga. Upon arrival, settle
into your desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and entertainment.
Day 2: Discover Merzouga
Kick off your day with a sunrise camel trek across the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes, followed
by a hearty breakfast at the camp. Spend the rest of the day exploring the dunes and
nearby oases in a 4×4. Visit local Berber villages and connect with nomadic families. Have
lunch either at the camp or a local eatery. In the evening, unwind at the camp and enjoy
another delicious Moroccan dinner under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Fès
Depart from Merzouga and head to Rissani to explore its vibrant souk. Next, continue to
Todra Gorge to marvel at its dramatic canyon walls and have lunch at a local restaurant.
Finally, make your way back to Fès, wrapping up your unforgettable desert adventure.
